I thought, at one point (very) early on in my career, that I would maybe concentrate upon doing Flash (ActionScript) work. These miscellaneous examples will hopefully illustrate why (wisely) I didn't. "Quirky" would be a kind description: "amateurish" and "toilet" would be more honest.

Thankfully, one hopes, the days of fighting to ensure that a website is accessible are long gone: now it's a matter of course. But in the days when it wasn't, we had to write stuff like this.

I haven't written many of these, I confess: they have always tended to get a little too technical for me. And where I have, they've most often been for a CMS of some kind. But I have often myself writing a susbtantial framwork for a developer to then complete.

A quite specific form of document this: a detailed recommendation for the hosting solution appropriate for a website. Not quite like the host that I helped to put in place for the first BB website, of course. Now that was a monster...

Interactive design specifications

Four illustrative Definition outputs, known variously as "interactive design" specifications, design documents or IA specifications. Whatever the label, these are typical of the level of detail I would expect to generate as the customer experience documentation of an interactive service.
