In 2003 - and following a series of succesful projects - Getfrank were re-commissioned by the SRA with a brief to refresh and modernise the SRA's tired online identity whilst at the same time upgrading existing content management provision to meet modern standards.
I led the design and technical delivery of this project, and personally undertook the information architecture effort required. Over the course of six months, we delivered a completely re-designed offering over two phases, empowering the SRA Communications team with a new, modern website that conformed to WAI and RNIB accessibility guidelines, as well as a future-proof, extensive content management system using the award-winning Plone software.
