The Norwich Union IFA extranet site was a B2B service provided as a digital channel to market for Norwich Union’s portfolio of investment, insurance and savings products. The site was primarily used by independent IFAs - who have access to similar services from other product providers other than Norwich Union - in order to purchase particular products for their customers, or to gather information about the performance, price or pedigree of a particular product for comparison purposes.
In the Spring of 2001, I undertook a comprehensive expert design and usability review of this complex offering, which included a suite of creative and strategic recommendations, and presented these to the Norwich Union Head of IFA Marketing.
On the basis of this work, Victoria Real were contracted to undertake a complete site re-design. I personally undertook the information architecture re-work, and led the graphic design team as senior producer. |
